Dr. Ruchi G. Sachdev became the Medical Director of DLO in May of 2023. She has been practicing anatomic and clinical pathology since 1999. Since 2003, she has been the Medical Director of a number of Oklahoma hospital laboratories. Dr. Sachdev received her medical degree in India and residency training in pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Before starting her pathology residency, Dr. Sachdev worked in biomedical research at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She is contracted with AmeriPath, a leading national provider of anatomic pathology, dermatopathology and molecular diagnostic services owned by Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Sachdev is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She is a current member and past-president of Oklahoma State Association of Pathologists, a current fellow of College of American Pathologists, and a member of The American Medical Association and other professional organizations. She is married and has two daughters.
