Why did DLO change from DLO Direct to questhealth?
DLO made the decision to offer questhealth to simplify the ordering process for our patients. Questhealth provides a user-friendly experience with the ability to order and purchase your tests online, as well as schedule your appointment at your preferred DLO lab, removing the need for paper requisitions. Questhealth also offers the opportunity for patients to speak with a board-certified physician through PWN Health to discuss lab results.
How do I purchase questhealth tests for myself?
Start by finding the questhealth tests you are interested in purchasing. Click Browse Our Tests to access the lab tests which are available for purchase. If you’re looking for a specific lab test, you can search for it, or limit the list you are viewing to specific types of lab tests by clicking on one of the health categories.
Determine if a test is right for you and add it to your cart. Once you have found a test or panel you are interested in, click Learn More, review the available information, and then click Add to Cart. Next, you may be asked several questions that will help Quest determine if the lab test or panel is right for you. If it is, the lab test or panel will be added to your cart. If it isn’t, then the test will show as unavailable for purchase.
Go to your cart and go through the checkout process. If you already have a MyQuest account, sign in; otherwise, click Checkout as a New Customer. Schedule your appointment for your lab tests or, if you want to walk in, click Decide later. If you do not already have a MyQuest account, create one. You must have a MyQuest account if you want to purchase questhealth tests for yourself. MyQuest provides a secure way to deliver your lab test results to you.
Add your payment information and purchase your questhealth tests. When your purchase is complete a confirmation page appears. You can then print a copy of your receipt. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation email. At any time, you can review or print your order details and receipt by going to the My Orders page. Please bring your questhealth order number with you when you visit a Quest location for your lab tests.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for testing?
You don’t need to schedule an appointment, but scheduling an appointment saves you time. Additionally, scheduling an appointment ensures that the Quest location you have chosen can accommodate the type of testing you are having completed.
If you choose not to schedule an appointment, know that our locations are busiest in the early morning. (This is when patients who are required to fast for testing often choose to arrive.) Your wait may be shorter after 10 a.m. and you may want to consider arriving after that time.
Please bring your questhealth order number or a copy of your order details with you.
How do I get my lab test results?
You can get your questhealth results through MyQuest, our secure online patient portal. Results are delivered directly to MyQuest on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You will receive an email notification when your results are ready.
Why must I have a MyQuest account to purchase questhealth tests?
We need to be able to securely deliver your lab test results to you. As part of the purchasing process, you will need to sign into your MyQuest account. If you don’t already have one, you will be prompted to create one.
Note: If you have a MyQuest account, but have not completed/verified it, you must do so in order to receive your lab test results. Check your MyQuest Notifications. You may have notifications requesting that you verify your identity or authorize that your lab test results be delivered.
How do I know what my results mean?
Questhealth will provide test result information and links to external information sources. Questhealth also provides the ability to talk to a clinical care coordinator at PWN Health to explain your results. However, it is your responsibility to ask your doctor what your test results mean. Quest urges you to share your results with your doctor in order to make the best decisions for your health.
What is the relationship between Quest Diagnostics/DLO and PWN?
Quest and DLO are working with PWNHealth LLC and its affiliated professional entities (collectively, PWN) to provide independent physician services to you in connection with questhealth. Before submitting your payment for your testing purchase, you will see the amount of fees Quest is collecting from you on behalf of PWN for their services to you.
What services does PWN provide?
Licensed PWN physicians provide oversight for all lab tests, based upon the information that you share with Quest. This includes ordering tests, if appropriate, and evaluating results once available. You will have the opportunity to speak with a PWN physician to discuss any of your lab results; and in some states, the PWN physician will be able to provide treatment for some conditions. If one or more of your results indicates that you need prompt attention, or is a positive sexually transmitted disease (STD) or HIV result, you will receive a call directly from the PWN care coordination team. All of your questhealth results will be sent directly to your MyQuest™ account.
If you would like to speak with a member of the PWN care coordination team or a PWN physician to discuss your results, you can contact PWN Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST at 1.855.205.6146.
Services provided by PWN are subject to its terms and conditions and privacy policies. To read PWN's terms and privacy policies, click here.
