Rachel was named Director of Reference Laboratory Operations in March 2021. In this role, she provides direct oversight to the reference/commercial laboratory side of our clinical operations. Rachel joined the DLO team in 2002 as a Laboratory Assistant in Microbiology. Since that time, she has progressed upwards in the DLO organization serving as Microbiology bench tech and group lead, Quality Assurance Specialist, and most recently a multi-faceted leadership role where she served as Laboratory Manager over DLO’s Medical Technology Recruiting and Retention Program, Microbiology department, and two metro hospital locations. Rachel uses her energy and dedication to our organization to drive excellence in quality and service to the patients and clients we serve. She earned her Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science from Northeastern State University. Rachel is married with one son and enjoys spending time at the pool or on the lake with family and friends.
