Price and Financial Assistance:
The list price of the BRCAvantage® Comprehensive test is $2,495. The Ashkenazi, Single Site, Single Gene and Rearrangement tests are $500 each. List price for BRCAvantage Plus is $3,300 and $805 without BRCA1 and BRCA2.
We provide an easy to use financial assistance program that limits out of pocket expense to $200 for qualified patients with income at or below 400% of the federal poverty level for qualified tests. For patients who do not qualify, we have 0% interest payments plans to help with the cost of testing. Visit BRCAvantage.com for more details.
Concierge Service:
Our team is committed to helping you and your patients navigate the complexities of insurance reimbursement:
- Insurance Verification: Upon receipt of a fully completed order and patient specimen, we will verify coverage of your patient’s plan. We will manage this process from beginning to end and take the steps needed for each order. Estimated
- Patient Responsibility: We will estimate your patient’s likely out-of-pocket responsibility at the same time of insurance verification. If the estimated patient responsibility is more than $350, we will attempt to notify you and/or your patient prior to performing the test.
Genetic Counseling
Our team of genetic counselors is available from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST by calling 866.GENE.INFO (866-436-3469) to help medical professionals with genetics related questions, including appropriate test selection and interpretation of results. We also connect patients with external genetic counselors as requested and when required by health plans after testing has been ordered.
Ordering and reporting can be done by paper or electronically, using Quanum™ Solutions or other EMR interfaces.

Transporting: Samples can be picked up by DLO Route Service Representative or, when this is not available, by FedEx with a prepaid mailer. Store and ship ambient immediately.
Turnaround Time:
10-14 days for BRCAvantage Comprehensive if orderis complete, patient meets criteria, and health plan does not require preauthorization. 7 additional days for BRCAvantage PLUS reflex codes.
